This Overdose Awareness Week, I’m launching Treatment on Trial—a podcast created to shine a light on the treatment industry and uncover the stories too many families have been forced to carry in silence.
For over 20 years, I’ve held onto a vision: inspired by Joni Mitchell’s Electricity, to pick up the brightest flashlight I could find and expose what’s been hiding in the shadows. With the support of my son, Jarrod, and this new platform, that vision is finally real.
🎙️ Treatment on Trial will feature:
Firsthand stories from survivors and families
Investigations into unsafe or exploitative treatment centers
Honest conversations about the ripple effects on loved ones
A movement for accountability and change
Too many people have been through treatment, rehab, or “safe houses” that were anything but safe. Their experiences have left lasting scars on individuals and families—and it’s time to speak the truth.
This podcast isn’t just about raising awareness. It’s about building a community of voices strong enough to force change. Because silence protects abusers. But stories spark reform.
